MyGoNorth Companion App

Project Synopsis

This prototype serves as a mock companion app for two interconnected, already existing sites: MyGoNorth and the North Country Chamber of Commerce. The app is intended to combine content and features from both sites into a comprehensive interface and navigation system suited for mobile apps at the user’s convenience.

Included with the prototype is a case study that shows my process, which includes creating multiple iterations of sitemaps, user flowcharts, low-fidelity wireframes, and two user tests. Challenges I had to overcome included figuring out the main user objectives as well as how to organize the content in a concise manner without excluding anything important. Once I got to making the prototype, I then had to build within the software’s functions and workflow limitations.
