Lake Zoar Authority – Website Redesign

Project Synopsis

The Lake Zoar Authority, based in Connecticut, is tasked with the goals of improving water quality and promoting safe boating on Lake Zoar.

The previous website, made to share critical news and information, was poorly supported by outdated software, making it nearly unusable. The layout was cluttered, links lead to no where, the styling was very inconsistent. There were even broken widgets and HTML code for the public eye to see.

The requests in the redesign project not only involved a complete interface design overhaul, but also a significant restructuring in the site navigation and additional features – including a comprehensive email subscription service with a straightforward way to subscribe to it.

The end result is a highly praised, comprehensive website with updated, consistent interface styling, a more intuitive site map, and brand new features. You can view the currently active new site below.
