This is an empathy map exercise I performed for a midwestern family restaurant establishment Buffalo Wings & Rings. The content is found on its respective episode of Undercover Boss, a reality TV show where owners and CEO’s go undercover to find any problem areas in their businesses. In the document, there is detailed empathy map for two people: the CEO and a server who works at one of the locations. The purpose of this exercise was to practice empathy research—a key component in UX Design—by walking in the shoes of various users and thus mitigating bias.
